John Halligan Presents: Ryan's Story

Adolescence is more challenging than ever. Rates of suicide are on the rise, an increase that has been linked to social media and smart phone use. John Halligan's son, Ryan, died by suicide after being bullied by classmates at school and online. He was only 13 years old. Join us as John returns to Needham to present "Ryan's Story", a moving presentation that covers the lessons learned by his family regarding how to deal with bullying, cyberbullying, and teen depression, focusing on both the challenges and practical approaches.

Location: Powers Hall - 2nd floor of Needham Town Hall
