This camp is dedicated to exploring the ins-and-outs of one of the most interesting areas in tech. 3D printing is a mode of product development that is fast, easy, and creative! Campers will work throughout the week to design & print their own creation! They will use a development style called rapid prototyping, where development starts at a basic idea, then to designing models, and finally a finished product.

Students learn basic computer aided design (CAD) principles, in order to take 3D images they have created as digital files and transform them into real, printed objects. They learn introductory concepts such as the utility of printing replacement parts, and make unique, personalized, three dimensional designs.

They get to take home their printed design, such as a phone accessory, a character, or a vehicle. Students will display the concepts they've learned;including the ability to design 3D homes or robots and then print their own design using the 3D printer This camp is the perfect blend of creativity and productivity!
