Join Coach Kaly and Coach Goodwin for an all skills softball clinic! Join in to practice hitting, fielding, and general game knowledge while gaining the confidence to shine on and off the field. There will be skills. There will be drills. And, of course - there will be games! Our younger players will cover a broad range of skills and softball IQ, while our older players will get a more personalized formula for success! There is something for everyone and all are welcome!
Participants will have opportunities to win prizes and will go home with a certificate for their hard work!
Please bring a water bottle!
Coach Bios
Coach Kaly: Coach Kaly Davidson is a lifelong athlete who grew up playing all the sports she could possibly immerse herself in. Kaly was a Catcher/Utility player and was the starting catcher for 4 years of Varsity in High School and the Mass Inferno College Showcase travel team. She then went on to be the 4 year starting catcher at Knox College. After graduation, Kaly coached for the Mass Inferno 18u and the Northeast Hurricanes 12u, 14u, and 18u teams before partnering with longtime teammate and best friend Coach Jack Goodwin to start CHAOS, a softball organization focused on youth enrichment and learning. In addition to her work at CHAOS, Kaly works full time in the parks and recreation field doing programming for all ages. Kaly is First Aid/CPR/AED certified, and National Alliance for Youth (NAYS) coaching certified.
Coach Goodwin: Coach Jack Goodwin is a multisport athlete and coach. Jack played catcher, infielder, and did some outfielding in both softball and baseball for the Mass Inferno College Showcase team in addition to be a starting player for Lexington High School. Jack currently teaches in physical education and health while coaching basketball and softball at the high school level. Jack has a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Sport Education, a Masters of Education in Leadership of Physical Education, and a Doctorate of Education with a concentration in Instructional Design. Jack‘s certifications include: First Aid/CPR/AED, a coaching certification from Endicott College, and he is National Alliance for Youth (NAYS) coaching certified.
