This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

The Wellesley Society of Artists and the Needham Recreation Department are pleased to offer a workshop taught by Paul Alie, a renown watercolor artist and teacher on Thursday, September 12th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Rosemary Recreation Complex, 178 Rosemary Street, Needham.  The title of the workshop is “Adding Acrylic Ink to Watercolor for Textural Effects.”  The cost of the workshop is $30.  The fee does not cover supplies, which each student must purchase prior to the workshop. This is a workshop for experienced watercolor artists.

As a watercolor artist, Paul has always enjoyed creating textures to subjects that lend themselves to textural experimentation such as rocks, rusted objects, baskets and other items.  Paul is a member of the Newton Art Association, the Newton Watercolor Society and a Signature Member of the New England Watercolor Society.  He teaches watercolor painting at the New Art Center in Newtonville and accepts private students.

Participants will be provided with a supply list for this workshop at the time of registration in their receipt.

Those individuals who prefer to register in person may do so at the Needham Recreation Offices located 178 Rosemary Street.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
