Youth & Family Services is offering a free QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) training for adults, which involves the 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. In this 90 minute training, you will leave feeling more equipped to support your friends, families, colleagues, neighbors, and overall community.
Training provided at no cost to participants by certified clinical staff from Needham Youth & Family Services.
