Needham Youth & Family Services, in conjunction with the Needham Council on Aging and Wingate, are piloting a new community service opportunity for Needham High School students from October 2024-April 2025! Needham students can earn 30 hours of community service by providing weekly grocery shopping tasks for seniors connected with The Center at the Heights or Wingate Assisted Living. Seniors will provide money and a grocery list and pairs of students will complete grocery shopping and deliver the groceries with change and the receipt back to the senior's residence.
