Volunteers Around Needham (VAN) - February Vacation Week - VAN - Circle of Hope
Join us for another session of Project VAN, aka Volunteers Around Needham this February break!Volunteers Around Needham invites students entering grades 7-12 to participate in half-day community service projects in areas that interest them! Students will earn community service credit for their participation and are welcome to sign up for one or both days.Wingate Senior Living235 Gould St, Needham, MA. 02494Tuesday, February 17th1:45PM - 5:00PMVolunteers will meet at Wingate Residences to assist with setting up Bingo, as well as participate in a Lunar New Year crafting activity.Circle of HopeMeet at Youth & Family Services office, lower level of Town Hall1471 Highland Ave. Needham, MA. 02494Wednesday, February 18th9:00AM - 12:00PMVolunteers will meet Circle of Hope staff and learn about the organization's mission, as well as assist in sorting and organizing clothing that will be distributed to various homeless shelters in the greater Boston area. Volunteers should be prepared to lift and carry boxes or other large items and should dress appropriately.Students may register for one or both of the sessions.
