Are you looking for an introduction to the basics of tennis? The beginner lessons will cover using forehand and backhand strokes, serving, and understanding the rules of the game. The advanced beginner and intermediate courses are for someone who is looking to develop court strategy and improve their technique. The advanced classes will cover skills like stroke positioning, volleying, and serving. Please bring a racket. 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Summer 2026: Tennis Series - Summer 2026: Tennis Series
The Tennis Series is a limited tennis match series for experienced tennis players. Matches will be set by Coach Benoit with players changing tennis partners for each match.Matches will occur on Thursdays at 9am, Wednesdays at 6pm and Saturdays at 9am and 1:30pm. Weekday matches before June 22 will take place at Newman Elementary School. Weekend matches throughout the season and weekday matches after June 22 will take place at Needham High School.

USTA New England's Social Tennis League offers the opportunity for adults ages 21 and up throughout New England to meet new people through the game of tennis. This league is a great way to improve your skills or get back into tennis in a fun, social environment. All levels are welcome to join as long as you can serve, rally and know the rules at a minimum since this league is match-based. This league is NOT for beginners. The first night of each season is a fun hit-around so players can get practice in before matches start and meet the other players in the league. In the following weeks, players will be put on co-ed teams and will be assigned a one-hour doubles match at either 6 or 7pm. The final week is playoffs to determine the winning team for the season. USTA provides all balls as well as captain gifts and winner prizes. All you need to bring is your racquet. Rain Dates: August 13 and August 20 Every player who registers for the league must complete this team placement form prior to the start of the league. This form helps us place you on a team based on your playing level, availability and teammate requests.
