Kids' Test Kitchen is on a mission to get young eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients! Working as a team, we'll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until we've prepared the finished dish. Fall Theatre Fun Ihis class will provide an introduction to theatre by bringing storybooks to life. Students will learn basic theatre terminology, stage direction, character development using voice and physicality, memorization, and storytelling. The class will culminate in a short showcase production narrated by the instructor.Fall Theatre Fun IIStudents will experience a variety of creative drama and theater activities, including improvisation, theater games, story creation, characterization and scene work. Using movement, vocal technique, character development, music, and both original and scripted material, they are encouraged to experiment with many facets of theater and drama. The class will culminate in a sharing for parents and friends.Teen Actors Studio - What are the vital tools for success needed to “break out of your box” and confidently showcase your ability to play a range of characters at auditions, callbacks and in all of your performances? This class is designed for teen actors eager for individualized feedback and training, who will be given the tools every actor needs to build their confidence and raise their acting and audition skills to the next level. Students in this teen acting studio will build, sharpen and showcase their acting skills through challenging acting training in monologue and scene work. NO PROGRAMOctober 14October 31November 11November 28February 18April 22

Come and learn how to save a life! This course covers how to recognize cardiac arrest, how to use an AED, and how to provide high quality CPR for adult, child & infant. We also cover choking in adult/child/infant, the use of epinephrine auto-injector, & Narcan administration. This course provides AHA HeartSaver certificates for those who need them.Proceeds from the registration fee will go towards the Domestic Violence Action Committee (DVAC) and the Gift of Warmth program.

The first team to complete their puzzle will win a prize of four other 500 piece puzzles! All teams get to keep the competition puzzle! When registering ONLY ONE MEMBER FROM EACH TEAM NEEDS TO REGISTER. Please submit your team mates first and last names when prompted. Join us in decorating homemade gingerbread houses this December. Each registration provides you with one gingerbread house and all of the decorating materials you could ever want! All homes will be displayed in the Gingerbread House Showcase and can be picked up later that day or later in the week!One gingerbread house comes with each each registration. Additional gingerbread houses can be purchased as add on process during registration. All gingerbread houses will be constructed by Park and Recreation staff prior to event. Please note, Park and Recreation staff will be using glue to build the gingerbread houses.This is NOT a drop-off event. Children must be accompanied an adult caregiver.

5:30 PM - 9:00 PM    Kids' Night Out - Kids Night Out - January
Give yourself the night off and treat your child to a supervised night of fun and interactive games, unique craft projects, a pizza dinner AND a movie! PJs and sleeping bags are not required but are allowed & encouraged! KNO FAQsWhat is the schedule for the night?- Between 5:30 and 6:15, participants can play games, do crafts, color, or play with our toys. At 6:15, we will clean up and get ready for dinner. At 6:30, dinner will be served. Between 7:00 and 7:15, we will start the movie. The movie will usually run until 8:30, at which point we will start packing up everyone’s things and playing some games until pick up at 9:00.What is served for dinner?- Plain cheese pizza from Nicholas’ Pizza and water.What should participants bring with them?- We recommend each child bring a water bottle, a blanket, or sleeping bag for the movie!
