Needham Health Department: American Heart Association CPR Class - CPR Class: 4/9/2025 Come and learn how to save a life! This course covers how to recognize cardiac arrest, how to use an AED, and how to provide high quality CPR for adult, child & infant. We also cover choking in adult/child/infant, the use of epinephrine auto-injector, & Narcan administration. If you are interested in receiving a AHA certification card you can purchase it for an additional $25. Proceeds from the registration fee will go towards the Domestic Violence Action Committee (DVAC) and the Gift of Warmth program.

With your renewable energy kit that you keep and take home, you can assemble up to 12 working experiments. Learn how different devices are used to extract useful energy, from a waterwheel in a small stream to a giant turbine in a tidal power station. The full-color, 32-page manual offers illustrated instructions and scientific information. Build a sawmill, and a hammer mill to harness the energy of moving water to do different types of physical work. With your classmates, you will witness and investigate the intriguing properties of water involving surface tension, adhesion, and cohesion. Kids' Night Out - Kids Night Out - May Give yourself the night off and treat your child to a supervised night of fun and interactive games, unique craft projects, a pizza dinner AND a movie! PJs and sleeping bags are not required but are allowed & encouraged! KNO FAQsWhat is the schedule for the night?- Between 5:30 and 6:15, participants can play games, do crafts, color, or play with our toys. At 6:15, we will clean up and get ready for dinner. At 6:30, dinner will be served. Between 7:00 and 7:15, we will start the movie. The movie will usually run until 8:30, at which point we will start packing up everyone’s things and playing some games until pick up at 9:00.What is served for dinner?- Plain cheese pizza from Nicholas’ Pizza and water.What should participants bring with them?- We recommend each child bring a water bottle, a blanket, or sleeping bag for the movie!
