Learn how to save a life!Hands-Only Drop InThis is an informal opportunity to learn the basics of hands-only CPR. It is not an American Heart Association class, and no registration is required. It is designed for anyone with little or no medical training.HeartsaverThis course teaches participants how to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively. It is designed for anyone with little or no medical training. The registration fee is $40 with the option to add a $25 digital certification card. Topics include: Recognizing cardiac arrest Providing high-quality CPR for adults, children, & infants Using an AED Providing choking help for adults, children, & infants Administering Narcan Using an epinephrine auto-injector Basic Life Support (BLS)This course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate breaths and ventilations, and provide early use of an AED. It is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. The $65 fee includes a digital certification card. This course includes all topics covered in the Heartsaver course as well as: BLS concepts from the Chain of Survival Performing as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR Delivering effective breaths or ventilations   Proceeds from the registration fee go towards Needham’s Domestic Violence Action Committee (DVAC) and Gift of Warmth program. Please note that the registration and card fees are non-refundable. Throughout the session, the class will also create simple props and costume pieces to use in a short, narrated showcase for families on the final day. No experience or special clothing required.Broadway BootcampBroadway Bootcamp introduces students to the essential elements of musical theatre like acting, singing, and dancing, through a collection of scenes, songs, and simple choreography. Calling all crochet and stuffed animal lovers! Join in on making your own stuffed animal friend from start to finish using beginner crochet materials and methods. Our instructor will help teach you the basics of crocheting and you will finish the class with your own handmade stuffed animal friend. Options include: a unicorn, a red panda, a cow, or a seal. All materials will be provided.

Kids' Test Kitchen is on a mission to get young eaters cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients! Working as a team, we'll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until we've prepared the finished dish. At the end, each student will receive the main ingredient, or a sample of the finished dish, and the recipe so that they can show off what they've learned!

Storybook Theatre KidsYoung performers will explore the magic of theatre through imaginative play, storytelling, movement, and beginner acting skills. Using familiar stories and creative games, students will learn how to bring characters to life while building confidence and working as a team. Throughout the session, the class will also create simple props and costume pieces to use in a short, narrated showcase for families on the final day. No experience or special clothing required.Broadway BootcampBroadway Bootcamp introduces students to the essential elements of musical theatre like acting, singing, and dancing, through a collection of scenes, songs, and simple choreography. Students will create a mini Broadway Revue showcase for parents featuring selections from classic and contemporary shows on the final day.  No experience or special clothing is required.  Teen Actors Studio What are the vital tools for success needed to “break out of your box” and confidently showcase your ability to play a range of characters at auditions, callbacks and in all of your performances?  This class is designed for teen actors eager for individualized feedback and training, who will be given the tools every actor needs to build their confidence and raise their acting and audition skills to the next level.  Students in this teen acting studio will build, sharpen and showcase their acting skills through challenging acting training in monologue and scene work.
